अमीना को बचपन से ही कढ़ाई-बुनाई का शौक था। उनकी दादी उन्हें छोटी-मोटी कढ़ाई सिखाती थीं। Amina had a hobby of embroidery and knitting since childhood. Her grandmother used to teach her small embroideries. उन्होंने सोचा क्यों न इसी हुनर को अपना profession बनाया जाए? She thought why not make this skill her profession? घर में कुछ पैसे जमा करके उन्होंने zari और धागे खरीदे और शुरू कर दिया जरी का काम। Having saved some money at home, she bought zari and threads and started zari work.

शुरू-शुरू में तो काम बहुत slow चलता था। Initially, the work was very slow. कभी design pasand नहीं आता, कभी order नहीं मिलता, कभी पैसे की तंगी आ जाती। Sometimes the design was not liked, sometimes orders were not received, sometimes there was a shortage of money. लेकिन अमीना ने हार नहीं मानी। But Amina did not give up. वो continuously अपनी skills improve करती रहीं। She continued to improve her skills.

धीरे-धीरे अमीना का काम बढ़ने लगा। Amina’s work gradually started to grow. अब वो अकेले सारे orders पूरे नहीं कर पा रही थीं। Now she could not complete all the orders alone. तब उन्होंने अपने मोहल्ले की दूसरी महिलाओं को भी इस काम में जोड़ लिया। Then she involved other women of her neighborhood in this work. जिन महिलाओं के पति नहीं थे, या जिनके घर की financial condition खराब थी, उन सबको अमीना ने zari का काम सिखाया और उन्हें अपने साथ काम करने का मौका दिया। Amina taught zari work to all those women whose husbands were not there, or whose financial condition was bad, and gave them the opportunity to work with her.

यह एक तरह का women empowerment था। This was a kind of women empowerment. सभी महिलाएं मिलकर काम करतीं, experiences share करतीं, और एक-दूसरे का support करतीं। All the women worked together, shared experiences, and supported each other. धीरे-धीरे उनका छोटा सा group एक बड़े business में बदल गया। Gradually, their small group turned into a big business.

आज अमीना बेगम के बनाए zari के कपड़े और सामान foreign countries में export होते हैं। Today, zari clothes and goods made by Amina Begum are exported to foreign countries. उनकी मेहनत और लगन ने उन्हें एक successful entrepreneur बना दिया है। Her hard work and dedication have made her a successful entrepreneur. उनकी कहानी उन सभी महिलाओं के लिए inspiration है जो मुश्किल परिस्थितियों में भी हार नहीं मानती। Her story is an inspiration to all women who do not give up even in difficult circumstances.
